Grand Canyon Estates is located in North Central Arizona just minutes from Valle. That puts it only about 30 minutes south of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and 30 minutes north of Williams, AZ.  Valle is approx. 30 minutes north of Williams, AZ and approx. 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon. It is a small town that has an Inn, gas station, convenience store and the Valle Airport. Flagstaff is the county seat and is the closest metropolitan area with an estimated population of only 68,000 and about 50 miles away, just an hour away. It is located next to Mount Elden, just south of the San Francisco Peaks, which includes Humphreys Peak, at over 12,600ft, within an hour drive you have the highest point in the state and the lowest.

There are many recreational activities in the area, of course Grand Canyon National Park and its attractions. Hiking the trails there or in Kaibab national forest. Water activities on such as boating, fishing, skiing on Lake Mead or rafting on Colorado River.  In the winter there is snow skiing at Arizona Sunbowl. Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Flagstaff

Flagstaff is an hour drive away, often called the “The City of Seven Wonders” because it sits in the midst of the Coconino National Forest and is circled by the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Wupatki National Monument, Sunset Crater National Monument, and the San Francisco Peaks. Surrounded by mountains, desert and ponderosa pine forest, is a gateway to the San Francisco Peaks, home to Arizona’s tallest mountain (Humphreys Peak) and the Arizona Snowbowl ski resort. Nearby, Wupatki National Monument has Native American pueblo sites, and Walnut Canyon National Monument is dotted with their cliff dwellings.

Flagstaff is the biggest city situated in the southwestern USA, in Northern Arizona.  Flagstaff has a somewhat dry continental climate with four distinct seasons. The mix of low humidity and high altitude supply balmy weather conditions throughout most of the entire year, as well as day warming, is radiated by the mostly clear atmosphere efficiently. Overnight temperatures year-round are often reduced compared to daytime temperature on account of the high altitude. Winters are extremely cold with plenty of snow. Highs usually are in the 20s, 30s, and the 40s. Winter nights could be quite chilly, with temperatures regularly going far below zero. Despite being fewer than 150 miles (240 kilometers) from Phoenix, the mean yearly temperature is 28.8 degF (16.0 degC) cooler, due mainly to its higher level.

Flagstaff has a reputation as a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts, as well as the area’s diverse topography, high altitude, and weather that was amenable bring backpackers, campers, climbers, diversion and elite runners, and mountain bikers from through the southwestern Usa. Wheeler Park, located next to city hall, is the place of other occasions along with summer concerts. The trail system goes through the city and is popular for both transport and recreation.

The region is a recreational hub for mountain biking clubs and road cycling, triathlon events that are organized, and yearly cross country ski races.
